The scorching heat and hot winds have once again taken a deadly turn. In the last 24 hours, seven people have lost their lives in Purvanchal. It is believed that they died due to heat. However, the health department and the district administration have not confirmed this.

Four people died in Ballia and three in Varanasi after their health deteriorated due to heat. While in Varanasi, a woman fainted and fell from a moving bike and got injured. She had to be admitted to the hospital.

A street vendor selling vegetables in Gudri Bazaar area of ​​Ballia and a labourer engaged in road construction on Sukhpura-Apaile road were rushed to the hospital after they suddenly fainted. Doctors declared him dead.

Apart from this, an old man from Janari and a teenager from Bhrigu Ashram died due to heat. A 23-year-old youth from Kanshiram Awas Vishwapur died in Varanasi. A young man who was found unconscious on the road was declared dead by the doctors when he was taken to Deendayal District Hospital.

In Rohniya area, a woman from Rajatalab, Paniara, riding a bike fainted due to heat and fell on the road. She has been admitted to the nearest hospital.
